Flower’s Construction is a small local startup business with big ambitions to grow. Most of their clients were acquired through Facebook and some through Check-a-Trade and they wanted a way to generate leads organically. They also wanted to expand their services from mostly landscaping jobs to include groundworks and renovations.

In terms of web design, they wanted something that reflected their exceptional workmanship and showcased some of their building projects. They were unsure of the type of design they wanted, and were keen to be “hands-off” and leave it up to us and our expertise.

What and how we delivered

When a client is unsure what they want, it allows us to get creative.

We researched other construction websites in the local area to get an understanding of the competition and what the client was up against. As a small family-run business, we wanted to focus on the friendly and personal touch they provided their customers and the exceptional feedback they were receiving. The client’s logo was black and gold, which we would normally use as the colour base for the website. However, the gold didn’t stand out well, so we switched it up to a bright orange to make the website pop.

We designed 9 unique icons in black and orange to represent the services they offer which were used through the site, and created a project template which could be used to add future projects quickly and easily. And we couldn’t resist adding in a few animations to give it a touch of class.

Overall the design came out clean, and fresh and stood out from its competitors.

We installed comprehensive privacy and cookie policies that follow GDPR rules and added a cookie consent pop-up.

Support & maintenance

We manage the day-to-day management of the backend and provide free updates to all front-end existing content.
